Gedfried for the Psion S3a/S3c

Because the Psion is so small I can have it with me wherever I go. I use it as a kind of brain extension because the Psion stores almost everything I can't remember myself. Examples of questions it answers for me are: What's the phone number of Mr. X again? How much did I pay for that printer three years ago? How long was the flight to Bali? How has the value of my shares developed over the last few months? When did I last backup my data?

When I discovered my interest in genealogy I thought that it would be nice to always have my family tree with me. Especially at family meetings it would prove useful to be able to look up names, birthdays etc. Unfortunately there was no family tree program for the Psion so I programmed it for myself. The program is pretty basic, it does read but not write the standard GEDCOM format, so the database has to be created with a family tree program on a desktop machine. For a quick handling, the presentation on screen is textual only and the filesize is limited to 32k.
