The Bodensee is Switzerland's largest lake after Lake Geneva. Also shown are some rivers (Rhein, Thur, Töss). The icons represent locations of McDonald's restaurants (currently just 61 in the hole country!) and bowling alleys.

Der Bodensee ist der zweitgrösste See der Schweiz nach dem Genfersee. Auch zu sehen sind die Flüsse Rhein, Thur und Töss. Die Ikonen stellen McDonald's-Restaurants bzw. Bowling-Bahnen dar.

Enlarged to level six this screenshot shows a highway junction near Oftringen. GeoDis can scale the Swiss map to seven zoom levels, level one being the smallest and level seven the largest.

Diese Karte wurde auf Stufe sechs vergrössert, um die Autobahnkreuzung bei Oftringen übersichtlich darstellen zu können. Die Schweizer Karte kennt sieben Stufen, wobei Stufe eins die kleinste und Stufe sieben die grösste ist.

For 36 important cities, GeoDis knows not only the distance as the crow flies but also the actual distance on the road, as can be seen here. This extra information is contained in a database and is automatically displayed whenever the user queries a distance and both cities are listed in the database.

Von 36 wichtigen Schweizer Orten kennt GeoDis nicht nur die Luftdistanz, sondern auch die Fahrdistanz auf der Strasse. Die Fahrdistanz wird automatisch angezeigt, wenn die Distanz zwischen zwei solchen Orten abgefragt wird.

On this map a new feature of the formula function is used: Dependent on population different font sizes are used for the city names.

Mit der Formel-Funktion lassen sich neu die Orte in verschiedenen Schriftgrössen anzeigen, in Abhängigkeit von der Einwohnerzahl.
